January 25th - January 29th

Seek the LORD and his strength;  seek his presence continually!  1 Chronicles 16:11

Moments to Remember..... January 25th

Wednesday

Avery loves to get in this soft sided box I got at Target for her toys.

January 26th - Thursday

Francine curled up in a blanked on my desk chair.

January 28 - Saturday

The beginning of the garage clean out. We spent an entire Saturday cleaning out our garage. Bill and Linda were so gracious to come down and help us.   It was a long day of preparing the attic, sorting through boxes, unpacking and making sense of everything. We even put furniture in the front yard and sold it.  As we were cleaning out the garage, we had at least 10 cars stop and ask us if we were having a garage sale.

The side that is full is now empty.

(an after shot still needs to be taken)

We took out the bushes in front of both he windows. This is the beginning of all the landscaping we plan to do.
I found all the baby doll stuff Allison used to play with.  She had a Pottery Barn Kids doll bed and after I got it all put together, look who tried to lay down in it..... She was so funny crawling in and out of the bed.

Allison had to get in on the fun too.  She laid on the other doll bed she used to play with.  They both were being so silly.

January 29th - Sunday

We missed church this morning because we were completely exhausted from working in the garage the day before.  We spent the day at the house doing other things besides continuing the garage unpacking.  Bill worked on a few trees in the backyard and I watched.  For lunch, we fixed steaks, on his new grill, (which I still haven't taken a picture of) and had a salad with corn on the cob.  We gave Avery corn on the cob for the first time and she loved it.  It has now become one of her favorites.

After lunch we played in the backyard for a little while.  It is very hard to play in the backyard with a little one and a pool.  She loves to see the water in the pool and gravitates to the pool.  In the coming blogs....we are going to start the building of a fence to separate the pool and the yard, so Avery has a place to play and we don't have to worry about her falling into the pool.

We concluded the evening with folding laundry......It's endless at our house.

  Goodbye January 2012.....
